Help your littles develop key motor skills with Snip, Snip! Unicorns & Princesses from Skillmatics! 25 fairy-tale-themed activities are divided into three skill levels that slowly progress in difficulty to help your little master scissors (as well as some folding and pasting!). Each page in the activity pad is perforated and guides the student visually with some scripted instruction, making this an excellent opportunity for parent-child engagement. Level 1 begins scissor skills with straight lines to cut; Level 2 introduces curved and zigzag lines; and Level 3 presents shapes. For instance, in Level 1, a student will cut, fold, and paste to make peekaboo princess flaps; in Level 2, students will cut along the zigzagged path of a hot air balloon; and in Level 3, they will cut and paste to make silly animal faces. The kit comes with 2 safety scissors for kids to practice with and a stick of glue.
